Got to give it up for Dead Ringers. One of my favorite movies ever. Jeremy Irons' best performance. IMO This film marks Cronenberg's transition from the effects-heavy "body horror" of his early work to the more cerebral, character driven thrillers he's known for today. Howard Shore presents another beautiful score and the technical feat of splitting Irons into two people on screen holds up well. Geneviève Bujold is excellent. She's a terrific actress who never disappoints. Unfortunately Cronenberg's loyalty to some of his stock actors, in this case Stephen Lack, hits a sour note (seriously, there's a reason both Mr. Lack and Bob Silverman aren't popular outside of the native home, David). An amazing film overall and one of Cronenberg's best.

Ron, I agree and love this film! I actually consider it one of Cronenberg's best, right up there with The Brood and Rabid.
